I'm not sure who we should retain, depending on who we might bring in.
One things for sure we are going to be left with some ageing players still on the books who could come in handy for the championship

Being realistic would like to see Ikahihifo, Livett, Dudson, Ashworth and Akers at Trinity.

Think they would improve us in key areas.

I think the main worry is of those out of contract how many have we resigned, I presume none but it is possible which allows them to talk to other clubs. I have to be honest currently we have not a lot to offer unfortunately other than relying on a player’s loyalty or lack of appeal at another club.

Can’t really trust the club atm to make the right decisions regarding retentions/signings.

It is a little worrying that some players have not been re-signed already.
The obvious ones are Tom and Dave. Just because we haven't heard, of course, doesn't mean something hasn't gone on already behind the scenes. Just have to wait and see I suppose.

Hasn’t Fafita said it’s his last year in SL? I’m sure he issued a statement along those lines, may have dreamt it however.

I'm pretty sure the guy that plays for Wakefield hasn't though.

What he said, IIRC, was that he may do another year, but it was up to his wife/family.

The problem we have in signing players is we cant gaurentee been in sl next season so players will be weary of committing to us

That's been the case for a few years now luppy, that's why the club get what other SL clubs would tend to overlook.
Unfortunately the club then go over the top with the length of the contract offered
