Rumour that Murphy is going to the Giants in exchange for Golding and £100 K

That would be a fantastic bit of business….however I just do not see it.

£100k and a player for a lad with less than a year on his contract, and who now may be sitting in the stands for some time, would be a very odd move.

Well, if it’s true, it’s worth considering if Murphy is Leaving Trinity at the end of this season. Then again it’s a gamble, Murphy can be a match Winner and possibly save us from relegation this season.

I’d guess i might have been the plan this time yesterday but the injury might have changed the situation, depending on its seriousness. Remember Murphy is only just 21 i think so if he was to go to another English club at the end of the season then we’d be entitled to compensation so a fee wouldn’t be that surprising. And he’s a Huddersfield lad. Be a shame to lose him though, he’s the only X factor player we have.

Another downside would be Lineham moving back up the pecking order.

While Murphy is quality if he’s given the service at the moment we aren’t seeing that.

A player like Golding may bring more benefits at this current stage.

If there is a deal here and it comes with some money then I’d be considering it. The money though would have to go towards further strengthening this season.

If that's the case (and I doubt it) go for it.
Would be more than interesting to see what would be done with the 100k.

If it's true they clearly don't fancy getting into a contract bidding war with other clubs, we could probably get some more cash out of it.
