Hood may not be the best but he was the only player to make a break yesterday. I'd be more worried about the other 12 lazy bar stewards who couldn't be arrised to back him up.

IIRC he mad 2 clean breaks but, it was like watching an action replay.
Sadly, like so many others, he just isnt quick enough these days.

Feel the same like the other two Chester signings that are probably all on the most wages as well ..Same as the fullback from HKR not up to the job .Kay was just as good at fullback.We have wasted all the salary cap money this year on overseas players who are no better than what we had .And brough in players with no quality for key positions

He never was. When at Leigh he once made a break, trundled (rather than ran) about 30 yards, seemingly decided that that was all he could manage and, embarrassingly, went to ground. How the heck he wasn't pinged for self-tackling is a mystery.

Bongser never rated him but there he was hooking for Wakey in SL whilst in The Championship the much maligned Chester signed Edwin Ipape for Leigh!

After he had already signed Hood for Wakey
