Would be very happy with this, he would be our best prop along with Whitbread and offers us the sort of big effective carries than none of our others can do. He is also a leader which is something we lack, fingers crossed he comes in and Antoni goes home.

More than happy if he comes back but I hope people realise he isn't going to be as fit as he was. I'd take 10 minutes of him over all of Atoni's efforts so far to be honest.

Short term would be a very good move. Atoni I was hoping would start firing in the summer months after settling but with his 4-8 week injury we probably won’t see him in many games from now till end of season.

Section of fans calling for the club to take action to save the season will be happy with the club management. They are clearly doing just that with bringing in Gale, Croft and looking at options like Dave F and Shaw.

Fact is though as mentioned there would have to be one going out. So long as it’s not Whitbread or Lino that’s fine.

I’m sorry but the damage is already done. I doubt Dave’s return would have much of an impact in results.

In terms of our preparation. Relying on a player who's retired to get us out of the because our coaching team does not have the ability to get a tune out of our poor squad.

De-register Atoni and bring Dave in. Other teams have de-registered players in previous seasons. At least Dave has some feel and passion for the club and it's supporters and he's been playing for the Entrance Tigers who play in the Newcastle Leagues Denton Cup which is a pretty good standard, so he'd be somewhere near fit (as he ever will be

Whilst I agree with you RE the coaching staff, Dave instantly improves us on the pitch, probably not enough but it is worth a try.

Absolutely or the club could just throw the towel in like Willzay (glad they haven’t).
