Netting is certainly a lot more efficient than those spikes.

They better not crap on my name on that girder.

I would probably worry if I was you about some on the forum being a greater risk if they could reach the girder in question.

Another plan leave strawberries and blueberries round the the ground and at least they will be crapping the red,white and the blue.

They're not really a long term practical deterrent for pigeons in open areas imho. Netting always my preferred choice. This is around wheat storage and handling btw.

Or you could just pay someone to give it quick clean before evert match.
