Powell says that Thornley is in contention to return at last and both Bain and Rodwell could be in contention too

If so thornley in for croft and maybe rodwell onto bench for????? Thats a tough one bain been out so long should maybe play in reserves first

I don't think I'd put Rodwell straight in unless he looks like Gordon Tallis in training.
The back we have is good enough especially if Griffin in SR.

I'd give him time to settle and reward those playing well.

He will have a week probably in run up to game but I would be inclined to agree. I think I would give him another week to bed in and look for Rodwell to make his debut at home vs Doncaster.

Bain also I would probably play him vs Doncaster too.

I would put Thornley in but only if he’s 100% otherwise I’d stick with Croft who always does generally does a good job. With it been Thornley calf if the fev pitch is like a potato field again then I’d probably not risk him on it.

I’d be happy to run with same 17 but equally if any of those 3 are in that’s fine too.

It’s good to have the option should we need the cover. Offers a solid utility option with experience to step in where needed.

Wouldn't rush Kay back at all, we don't need him at this moment. He will be useful to fill in where needed as the season goes on

Unless injuries kick in I cant see him replacing any of the squad we've run with so far. Certainly 4th place as regards hooker, 4th on wing and 3rd at FB.

Just watched the interview on YouTube of Thomas Doyle, he says we owe Fev one after playing on that Potato field !

Well 3rd on wing atm but when McGillvray is back he will be 4th choice.
