3 weeks ago I watched Hull beat Leeds in one of the best performances we have had in the last few seasons, and the most pleasing aspect of the game for me was that every player in the 17 worked their socks off, every ball was chased, every tackle had 2/3 men in it, ever big hit was greeted by 'high 5's' all round by the players.

Since then we have had an abject scrappy win against London and an error strewn game against Rovers.

Today I expected a response to the Rovers defeat, instead the player's body language looked like they were going through the motions. Right from kick-off the runs were half-hearted, and the attacking play was straight out of the 'Richard Agar's guide to attacking Rugby League 2011' handbook, with the infamous 'short pass inside, trundle in to the line at a snails' pace 'tactic' being apparent all afternoon



even when we improved in the 2nd half, the tries weren't really celebrated by the side, with the players just walking back as individuals.

maybe I am reading too much in to it, but it just didn't look like a united and motivated team today.

I doubt it, teams like us will always go through the spells like this.

If there was something wrong we would have got beat easy today.

All the players are looking for another club?

Thought we got a response , ok we looked clueless in attack but saints defended really well today . Plus saints were expecting a response after last week . We had enough ball to win by 30 but at least the effort was there . Don't know what some people want or expect at times . I'm happy with the draw .

I thought we looked flat, clearly the game-plan was the inside ball and turn their big boys around. I was disappointed at the amount of chances we had on their line however Saints defence and sliding defence was excellent. Saints had a lot of strike players and we came back from 12-0 down, a bit disappointing but a points a point. I would put Whiting back in the middle of the park.

maybe saints had something to proove today as well after their spanking from wigan last week!

Saints are a quality side capable of beating any team which many seem to forget, their defence was excellent and I fear if we had not had as much possession as we did they could have given us a spanking today. We should be pleased we got the point imo as clearly we are not on form atm.

i agree, too many people looked at the saints squad today and thought easy 2 points for fc!, i can't decide if it is a point gained or lost after being 12-0 down then 2 points up with 3 minutes left. very brave decision to go for the short kick off at the end, just needed a kinder bounce

There are problems with some people from Hull.

According to the Saints board another brick has been put through a Saints supporters coach.

Something needs to be done about this.

I know how you feel, I tried to work it out all the way home



However we are joint 4th in the league after 3 weeks of average rugby compared to what we know we are capable of, onwards & upwards I say
