So, at the beginning of the season, a few people ( i can only remember Jake as well as me) said that it would be a struggle and we were probably going to be poor. With complete regret it appears we were right. Sad days that we are used to mediocrity and accept it. I'll keep going but it is becoming a chore. Today was a big disgrace. All too many of those days in last few years.

I think it's now fair to say many are not accepting mediocrity. Crowds dwindling and it will become rapid soon. Forget IAKOW. I support the club but this team certainly since 2006 is now taking the mickey.

I questioned the appointment of Radford. I also worry that if my sources are correct the list of candidates was totally underwhelming for the head coaches role. Or did AP simply chose the candidates based on a post code?

AP has allegedly ploughed in millions yet fails to grasp that a clubs culture comes from the head man. This failure will haunt us for years to come unless he sorts it out soon.

I predicted 10th, clearly I was way too generous.

Poor coach appointment, poor in the pre-season games, it's were I expected us to be but it still doesn't make it easier to take.

And we have had all the easier home games Hull KR apart. Good job Bradford have a points reduction.

For a few seasons now I have been going to games more with hope than expectation. I am not from Hull, but for a rugby mad city, both clubs are underwhelming. I am not saying we have a devine right to win everything, but I think we have a right to watch decent rugby. After yesterdays game I am seriously thinking of not going. I have been going for years ,but to watch us sling a decent lead away and be more interested in scrapping does make you think.
Before anybody comes up with "any kind of weather", been there ,done that, got the T shirt.

I originally thought 7th or 8th. I still think we could make 8th place, though I would regard such a finish as a failure.

It's going to be exciting next year when we have to play all those extra games against Featherstone, Leigh, Dewsbury and Doncaster !

I originally thought anywhere between 6th and 9th to be honest. It was difficult to predict as we had too many players who had the potential to be great or poor, plus an unproven coach.

And fair few people questioned Radford's appointment, myself included. I think most of us hoped to be proven wrong though. I like his attitude and honesty but for me his appointment has come too early in his coaching career.

Don't think we have quite sunk that far yet, though to be fair any of those aforementioned clubs could take us to the cleaners on their day.

If Bradford appeal is successful, it could get interesting.

Very interesting. Throws the relegation battle wide open and we will be drawn into it along with Rovers. They have the advantage of a string of easier games than we have as well.

Many may all 8 Leeds, but will hold my hand up and say I envy their fans watching decent rugby.
