With the derby appearing on the horizon the banter (and abuse from some) will increase but a question for all you Rovers fans out there.

Who do you think our bitter neighbours will fear the most in the Rovers team ?

What tactics do you think they fear the most ?


IMO : I reckon Dobson in current form will be their major worry and Cooke always performs well against them....hopefully our forwards will give us the foundation to allow this pair to dictate.

Reckon the high ball to the their fall back or either of the wingers could prove very beneficial. And their players constant watch to avoid a Makka or Murell big hit.

I know you dont want us scum on here but FWIW I think you will find most FC fans will say they dont fear any individual player of yours as you dont have any 'stand out' leaders.
I just think collectively you can be a very strong side but as for fearing individuals I dont think we would.

Also you mentioned Dobson but I would disagree as again IMO he is a one trick pony with a great kicking game. Cooke would be a much bigger threat to us than him.

Anyway as you know Derbies are not about current form and absolutely anything can happen (and usually does !)

i honestly dont think they fear anyone.......the only thing they fear is losing and same would be said about rovers fans as well.

Whilst it is nice to beat your rivals I for one would much prefer to finish above Rovers come the end of the season than having the so called 'derby bragging rights'.
We could have won all derbies last year but it still would not have eased the pain of you finishing above us !

I agree. Id say we are a good collective unit, without any real stand out performers (although arguments could be put forward for Fox, Vella and Galea)
