We've loaned players off saints Wigan and Huddersfield and Huddersfield have loaned off us so you see we're I'm going with this

I think this coming year is the last on his contract, so not exactly developing him for FC unless he chooses to stay there following his loan deal.

No more so than any other club, if we were doing week long loans and returning players then I'd agree but were not. I'd expect if he goes well he'll end up permanent.

I was impressed with him the CP derby a year orso ago but have been equally unimpressed with some of his showings on sky. Will have to see how he goes.

He is out of contract this year, so we mus have at least a 2 year deal in place, with a year at Rovers, or there is no point in the loan, you could just sign him.

More talented players have drifted away from the game, less talented players have had great careers.

Nothing, other than his inexperience and lack of creativity at first team level so far. He should improve in this regard under Sheens and in the Championship.

Anyone who has seen the full welcome interview with Tim Sheens will be aware that he thinks the 2017 squad is lacking depth as things stand. Jordan Abdull on loan for 2017 and committed to a course of anti kebab, pie and burger therapy is a good deal for him and our club. Abdull is at the same stage of his career development as James Greenwood was in 2015. He has put in the odd very impressive performance in a Black and White shirt, so has the potential given more game time.

If he goes well, I hope he tells Hull to shove it and signs a permanent deal with us.

I reckon the new mantra for Hull KR now is cost effective quality and depth. Salter beware.

You're right it doesn't say much about your squad but what direction do you think the club could go with the reduction in funding etc ? He might be a fringe player but he's a better player than some on these forums give him credit for.
